Our building for art in all its forms. 

The UK’s first purpose-built studio complex, Persistence Works is a landmark brutalist space designed for production. Its 55 studios support heat, fire and light-industrial processes, alongside shared facilities including silversmithing workshops, a gas-fired kiln and a public gallery.

Over the past two decades, it has become a nationally recognised centre for silversmithing, home to a strong community of ceramicists, and a place to encounter contemporary British painting.
