Our Artists
& Makers

More than 165 artists and makers work at YAS across a wide range of disciplines. Together they form one of the largest communities of professional artists in the country. Two studio buildings are home to silversmiths, sculptors, painters, jewellers, ceramicists, digital artists, photographers, textile artists, performance artists, designers, printmakers, public artists and more. Collaboration across artforms and specialisms is common at YAS. Communities of expertise have developed over time, in silversmithing and jewellery, ceramics and large-scale art for the public realm.
