Migration Matters is an annual arts and community event that celebrates sanctuary, diversity, and the contributions of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Running during Refugee Week, the programme typically includes performances, film screenings, workshops, and food, featuring contributions from artists, activists, and local community members.

Dig Where You Stand is an archival justice movement that unearths the untold stories of people of colour who have lived and worked in South Yorkshire. It empowers communities to research local history through archives, using creative methods and exhibitions to challenge mainstream narratives and highlight the long-standing presence of black and brown people in the region.

Cole Morris is an award-winning multimedia artist living in Sheffield. He specialises in creating shadow puppetry and animations, influenced by his environment and family history.

Désirée Reynolds is a Sheffield-based writer, editor, and creative practitioner who founded Dig Where You Stand. Through work blending archival research and creative writing, she uncovers hidden stories of people of colour in South Yorkshire.

Chris Finguz is a Sheffield-based music producer, musician, and arts practitioner. He is known for his work in the band Aziza & Finguz and as a producer at Knuckle Studios, blending genres like broken beat, afrobeat, and soul.

Chris Campbell is a MOBO and Brit award-winning musician. He has worked and played with artists including Alton Ellis, Dennis Brown, Horace Andy, Eeka Mouse, Big Youth, Levi Roots, Iration Steppas, LTJ Buckham and William Orbit.
